Great for active baby

Mama B Hollywood, FL 4/7/2009

Pros: Durable, Lots of Fun, Engaging

Describe Yourself: Parent Of Two Or More Children

At 3 months old, yes I said 3 months old we bought this for my very active baby. She was practically jumping out of my arms so we had to get this for her.

I love how it swivels to different activities and allowed her to jump. It changes height settings as your baby gets taller which was another great feature.

It was great that it could fold up so we could take it to the park or friends' houses.

Job Interview Scams

My husband lost his job 1 week before Christmas and presently still hasn't found another one. He has submitted his resume to countless companies and has his resume posted on Monster and Career Builder.

His job was unique. He downloaded lists for automotive dealerships and direct mail companies. I couldn't really explain it any better than that. I tease him and say that he's like Chandler Bing from friends, no one really knew what he did.

Anyways, the reason for my post is that there have been a couple interviews he has gone on that were complete scams.

Interview #1 He was told on the phone when setting up an interview date and time that it was kind of like marketing but to just come to the interview and see for himself. It turned out to be some company that directs you on how to start your own insurance agency. That was a waste of time.

Interview #2 This company claimed to be an event staffing company and needed 6 managers to run 6 offices they planned on opening up. He goes to the interview and was asked to return for a 2nd one which would be held at an event. I tried googling the owner of the company and all that came up was his FaceBook page. I didn't like the immediate feeling I got, but can't judge a book by its cover right?!

Morning of the 2nd interview he shows up to the office and is put in a room along with 6-7 other people and is given a contract that says they will got get paid for today. The event was to be held at a location that was close to our home so my husband said instead of driving all the way back up north another 40 min to come right back, he'd like to take his vehicle. He was told no and had to ride with them. He of course calls me to tell me all this and I immediately said leave, don't do this, its a scam.

He ends up going and it turns out to be at a gas station where they had to sell cans of this car cleaner of some sort. The job was that you work with the company for 6 months and learn the ins and outs of this "event staffing" and go off on your own with your own company once the "training" is over.

Yea, I ended up picking him up after about an hour of him being there. What a waste.

I felt that I should post this information in case you're on the job hunt and receive phone calls with interviews such as these.
